Oeko-Service Luxembourg S.A., hereinafter referred to as “we”, is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal data. The purpose of this notice is to inform you of the use we make of the personal data we collect within the framework of our training courses, and to inform you of your rights.

WHAT TYPES OF DATA ARE COLLECTED ?

When you register for our training courses, we may process the personal data you provide, such as:

  • Identifying data (surname, first name, gender, job title, company);
  • Contact details (email address, postal address);
  • Language(s).

LEGAL BASIS AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

We use the data you provide to manage registrations for training courses and to ensure that these courses run smoothly. This data processing is necessary to fulfill our respective contractual obligations.

On the basis of our legitimate interest, we use your contact details to communicate with you about our training courses.

HOW LONG WILL YOUR DATA BE STORED ?

Your data will be kept for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and for a maximum of 2 years after the end of the training course.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH ?

Your data will be kept confidential and will only be shared with third parties when it is useful, necessary and in accordance with the law. Such third parties may include sub-contractors such as our IT systems providers. We will ensure that your data remains within the European Union.

In accordance with the law, you have the following rights:

  • The right to information. We hope this notice answers all your questions.
  • The right to access your personal data.
  • The right to rectify your data if it is inaccurate or out of date.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD) if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the law.

In certain cases, and under the conditions established by law, you also have the following rights:

  • The right to request the deletion of your data.
  • The right to request the restriction of the processing of your data.
  • The right to object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of your data.
  • The right to portability of the data you have provided (i.e. the right to receive your personal data on a machine-readable medium), as long as this is technically possible.
