Our training courses for companies: Safe handling of dangerous products

Businesses
All about hazardous substances: from labelling to disposal (customer-specific)
Target audience: Managers and employees in COMPANIES who come into contact with hazardous substances.

Content: Acquisition of basic knowledge of hazard communication (CLP and REACH) to establish a storage and disposal concept for hazardous products.

Target group
Managers and employees of companies in the public sector who encounter hazardous substances.

Training content

The training consists of two modules, each lasting three hours. You can book Module I, Module II or both modules.

Module I covers the basic properties of hazardous substances. Participants learn to understand hazard pictograms under CLP and use safety data sheets under REACH.

Module II covers the safe storage and proper disposal of hazardous products. Participants learn to assess product risks and select appropriate storage measures. This module is intended for people with basic knowledge of CLP and REACH.

Certificates and Evaluation

At the end of the training, the SDK will issue a certificate of attendance.

Training focus

After Module I, participants will be able to:

  • acquire and apply basic knowledge of the properties of dangerous products,
  • identify and distinguish between various hazardous substances (e.g. acids, bases, and oxidising agents),
  • identify hazard pictograms and understand their meaning,
  • obtain basic information from safety data sheets,

After Module II, participants will be able to:

  • separate products according to their risk characteristics and store them correctly,
  • get to know different safety cabinets and their areas of application,
  • implement measures to reduce risks through the proper storage of hazardous products.
