SDK for municipalities
Under the Offallmatrix and the Climate Pact, local authorities are required to provide a wide range of information and set up services dedicated to waste management and reduction.
In this context, the SuperDrecksKëscht® wishes to support local authorities in fulfilling their responsibilities.

SDK fir Betriber
The “SDK fir Betriber” offers a free service to help Luxembourg companies and institutions better manage and reduce their waste. The service includes sorting, storage, prevention, awareness-raising and compliance, optimizing costs and reducing risks. The SDK label, certified ISO 14024:2000, rewards qualitative and preventive waste management, helping to preserve resources and the climate.

SDK Akademie
The SDK Akademie offers a free awareness-raising service, particularly to primary schools and halfway houses. This includes a wide range of activities designed to promote the sustainable use of our resources, as well as waste management and prevention.
We now offer the Circular Lab as a new activity for Cycle 3 and 4 classes. This mobile laboratory goes directly to schools to raise awareness, in an interactive way, of the principles of resource cycles and the circular economy. Students discover VR headsets, augmented reality games, 3D printers and much more. Classes in cycles 3 and 4 can book this unique activity.

Public and private building owners can call on our specialist advisors to organize the waste management of their construction and deconstruction projects in line with the SDK fir Betriber concept.

SDK Residenzen
SDK Residenzen is a consultancy service provided by SDK fir Bierger for private individuals, property managers and local authorities. The aim is to improve waste management in residential buildings, helping residents to better manage sorting, reduce waste and meet legal obligations.

Eco-Belle
The Eco-Belle is just one of the smart garbage cans available in Luxembourg. The smart garbage can is a residual waste collection system for residential buildings. It records the frequency with which a resident uses it. This enables invoicing according to the polluter-pays principle, encouraging responsible use of resources and reducing the environmental footprint by reducing the production of residual waste.

Collection of problematic products
Mobile collections take place four times a year in every commune of Luxembourg, organized either through the centrally-located Service-Center or via door-to-door collections.

Communication tools
The SDK offers a wide range of communication tools to help local authorities deal with the management and handling of waste, as well as the concept of the waste hierarchy:
1. Every month, we prepare an information page which we send to interested municipalities. A specific topic is covered, and the documents can be adapted to the specific needs of each community. Communes can then publish this information in their communal bulletin or on social networks.
2. A new initiative is an interactive digital game, customized for each commune, designed to raise awareness of waste management and reduction in their area.
3. In addition, we offer information sessions in the communes, as well as visits to the SDK logistics center in Colmar-Berg.
4. We also broadcast reports to raise awareness and inform the public about waste-related challenges. These reports can be shared on the communes’ social networks.
5. On our website, you’ll find a product lexicon providing detailed information on the handling and management of different types of waste.
6. Finally, our “Resource Potential” tool enables transparent communication on the degree of resource reuse of different wastes.
